What Are the SSC JE Exams?

How To Ace the SSC JE Examinations?

The SSC JE Exams are conducted nationwide to select the candidates through a written assessment. The Indian government will assign the exam-qualified applicants to a variety of Ministries, Departments, and Organizations. The eligibility criteria are one of the essential things to keep in mind before applying for any exam be it RRB JE or SSC JE. The minimum age restriction for the SSC JE exams is 30 to 32 years depending on the different departments of engineering. Departmental-specific requirements for candidates’ educational background include things like a B.Tech, B.E, or Diploma in subjects like Mechanical, Civil, or Electronic engineering. Candidates for the Junior Engineer MES position will also need to have at least two years of experience in domains relevant to engineering. Paper 2 is also a pen and paper mode examination consisting of 300 marks, but it will be conducted offline. Paper 1 has three components where two subjects will be common to all but the third is a selective subject. General Intelligence and General Awareness will be common to all the applicants, and General Engineering in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical can be chosen by the candidates. Paper 2 is the conventional paper also called the core engineering paper which has three parts General Engineering (Civil), General Engineering (Mechanical), and General Engineering (Electrical) depending upon the candidate’s choice.

What Are the RRB JE Examinations?

The Ministry of Railways oversees RRB. It is a central government employment agency. RRB was previously referred to as the Railway Recruitment Commission. The RRB is in charge of appointing non-gazette positions for Group C and D. A reputable government position with a handsome wage scale that is ideal for engineers is RRB JE. The RRB determines the qualifying requirements, including the minimum age and educational standards. The RRB JE exams have an 18-year minimum age requirement and a 33-year maximum age limit, although there are exceptions for OBC, SC/ST, and PwD groups. OBC has a 3 years of age relaxation, SC/ST has 5 years of relaxation, and OBC has 13 years of relaxation.

Educational Qualification for RRB JE exams is a Diploma or degree in engineering for Junior Engineer and Depot Material Superintendent, B.Sc, B.Tech, BCA, and PGDCA degree for Junior Engineer(IT). Candidates for Chemical Mechanical Assistant must hold a bachelor’s degree in a science field and a minimum of 45 percent overall. The selection process has three parts: digitally administered exam, document verification, and the final step, the medical examination. Some important topics under the syllabus are from the Basic of Science (10th level) which are Environment and Pollution Control, Engineering Drawings or Graphics Electronics, and Computer.
