World Teachers’ Day celebrated by Welkin, U.S education expert delivers talk, shares experience

On the occasion of World Teachers’ Day a special function was organised by Shah Rasool Memorial Welkin Educational Trust Sopore.

 

Professor Dr. Qazi Siraj Azhar, a world renowned figure and chairman Scientific Review Committee Michigan State University USA was the guest of Honour on this occasion.

 

The guest of Honour shared his lifetime experiences with the august gathering and suggested some path breaking measures to be taken to confront the emerging challenges in education sector in Kashmi.

 

The function was attended by various dignitaries from apple town Sopore, honorable personalities from education department, G.N. War President Private School Association J&K besides a huge gathering of teachers and students.

 

President PSAK, G.N. War shed the light on the problems faced by the Private Schools despite their sincere services to the community.
Speakers said that educational institutions in the entire state are imparting quality education to the students but are facing lot of problems at the same time.

 

While appreciating the services of SRM Welkin towards North Kashmir, the speakers said that being one of the top educational institutions in the valley, Welkin not only provides educational services at your doorstep but also is excelling in every field.

 

They said that such institutions help in the overall development of the society.

 

On this occasion, students of SRM Welkin presented various programs enthralling the audiences.

 

Later on the Guest of Honour was presented special award and mementos for his services in the field.

 

Vice Chairperson Baseema Aijaz thanked the gathering of the programme and expressed hope to have such functions again in the school.
