Directorate of Health Services Kashmir Friday organised a blood donation camp at District hospital Baramulla in which large number of volunteers donated their blood.
50 volunteers including students, media persons, lawyers, police, staff members and various other prominent persons donated 50 pints of blood.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo, Medical Superintendent Dr. Syed Masood and various other concerned officials of health department were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, CMO Baramulla Dr.Bashir Ahmad Chalkoo highlighted the significance of organizing the camp and said that the department will organize such camps in future as it proves very helpful to the needy.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Syed Masood also deliberated upon service of mankind and appreciated the volunteers who participated in the camp.
